Jon Downey is the Director of Technology Systems at Walton Arts Center. Jon has previously worked as a Systems Administrator at Walmart from November 2005 to March 2010 and as the Director - Intl Emerging Technology from May 2010 to August 2021.
Downey is responsible for overseeing the technology systems at Walton Arts Center. Jon ensures that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Jon also liaises with other departments within the organization to ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest technology developments and that they are able to make use of the systems to their full potential.
Downey has a wealth of experience in managing technology systems and has developed an in-depth knowledge of networking during their previous roles. Jon is committed to ensuring that the technology at Walton Arts Center is always up-to-date and fit for purpose.
They are on a team with Alex Newby - Technical Director, Jill Suel - Director, Marketing, and Sallie Zazal - Director, Learning & Engagement. Jon Downey reports to Peter B. Lane, President & CEO. and Robert Martin - Database Administrator reports to Jon Downey.
