Bre’Anna is a program officer on the Environment Program’s Mississippi River Initiative and manages a portfolio focused on community engagement and the Foundation’s coastal restoration efforts.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Bre’Anna was a program officer for the Chesapeake Bay Trust. In that role, she led restoration and outreach grant programs focused on enhancing waterways and outdoor, communal spaces through community-led and -inspired projects.
Bre’Anna also led the diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice efforts in her previous role. Bre’Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently in graduate school at the University of Johns Hopkins for Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in equity.
