Shahid Mahmud Akash

Shahid Mahmud Akash is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in research, innovation, and production management within the electronics and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Additional Director of Research & Innovation at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC since November 2021, Shahid leads advanced motor design projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability through innovative materials and seamless collaboration across departments. Prior to this role, Shahid held several positions at Walton, progressing from Deputy Director to Senior Deputy Director in production management, where leadership over high-capacity manufacturing lines and cost reduction initiatives were key responsibilities. Shahid's previous experience includes a role as Senior Executive Engineer at Radiant Pharmaceuticals, focusing on maintenance and operational planning, and as a System Engineer at Banglaphone Limited with expertise in network administration. Shahid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
