Nesma Abdel Azim is an experienced journalist and editor with a strong background in media and communication. Currently serving as Managing Editor at Wamda ومضة since March 2021, Nesma oversees the coverage of startups and SMEs in the entrepreneurial landscape. Previous roles include Executive Editor at AlMajal Media and Studies, and Senior Editor positions at both The Baghdad Post and Egypt Today Magazine, where Nesma focused on reporting and analyzing critical issues for non-Arabic-speaking audiences. Nesma's early career featured research roles at the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights and the Arab Network for Human Rights Information, emphasizing labor rights and human rights violations in the Middle East. Nesma holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Cairo University, completed in 2009.
