Jim Kosek

Jim Kosek is an experienced meteorologist currently serving as Chief Meteorologist at WAND-TV since August 2019. Previously, Kosek held positions as Meteorologist at Atlanta from June 2017 to August 2019 and as Chief Meteorologist at WGCL/CBS Atlanta from December 2014 to June 2017, where responsibilities included daily on-air forecasts and managing a team of meteorologists. Additional experience includes roles at KCTV/KSMO, KTVX-TV, and AccuWeather, where Kosek provided forecasts for various markets and managed meteorological teams. Kosek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Penn State University, obtained from 1982 to 1986.
