Maxime Beck

Maxime Beck has a strong background in mechanical engineering and research. Maxime is currently working at Wandercraft as the Head of Mechanics, a role they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Responsable Innovation Mécanique at Wandercraft from October 2019 to March 2021. Maxime also worked as an R&D Mechanical Design Engineer in the field of medical robotics from April 2018 to October 2019 at Wandercraft.

Before joining Wandercraft, Maxime Beck gained valuable experience at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. Maxime worked as a Research Engineer at the Laboratory of Interactive Robotics from December 2015 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for mechanical design, prototyping, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of collaborative robots aimed at reducing musculoskeletal disorders.

In addition to their professional experience, Maxime Beck was involved in a research project at Wandercraft in 2014, where they contributed to the development of an innovative robotic knee. Maxime also completed a six-month internship as an R&D Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the design of a leg exoskeleton, at Wandercraft from July 2013 to December 2013.

Maxime Beck attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2009 to 2014, where they studied Conception Mécanique. Maxime also obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering during the same period from the same institution.
