Zakiya Samuel

Zakiya Samuel is an experienced fashion stylist with a strong background in styling and editorial work. Currently serving as a Fashion Stylist at Wantable since August 2022, Zakiya also runs a personal styling and editing business, Zakiya Samuel Style, since October 2017, focusing on creating compelling photography concepts. Prior experience includes roles as a Freelance Fashion Stylist/Assistant from December 2014 to October 2017, supporting fashion editors with photoshoot production and trend research, and serving as a Fashion Assistant at Cityist Magazine from December 2011 to December 2014, contributing to the magazine's digital content. Zakiya's fashion career began with an internship at Nylon Magazine from March 2012 to October 2012, managing the fashion closet and assisting in editorial projects. Zakiya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing and Management along with an Associate of Arts in Broadcasting from The Art Institutes.
