Veli-Pekka Salo

Veli-Pekka Salo is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence, analytics, and automation, currently serving as the Head of AI, Analytics and Automation Solutions at Wapice Ltd since December 2011. With extensive experience in project and team management, Veli-Pekka has developed high availability data collection systems and industrial software solutions. In addition to the role at Wapice, Veli-Pekka is actively involved in the Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Digitalization Committee and the Finnish Society of Automation as a member of the OPC Committee Finland. Previous positions include senior software engineering roles at Fastrax Ltd and Elektrobit, along with foundational education in Electrical Engineering, having earned a Master's degree from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1999 and 2004.
