David Ben Ochom

David Ben Ochom is an experienced professional in program management and development within the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for Southwestern Uganda at War Child Canada since June 2023. Ochom has held various leadership roles, including Country Director at Dwelling Places Uganda and Child Dignity International, where responsibilities encompassed program implementation, monitoring, and financial management. As a member of the Board of Directors for Omuto Foundation, Ochom also spearheads program strategy and impact. Previous positions include Program Manager for emergency education initiatives at Plan International and World Vision, along with coordination roles at Save the Children International and Community Shelters Uganda. Ochom holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a postgraduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, along with degrees in Education from Kyambogo University.
