Daniel Kanak

Daniel Kanak has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Daniel is currently a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus LLC, a position they have held since November 2022. In 2023, they also became a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Prior to their current roles, Kanak worked as a Private Investor at Monest LLC starting in June 2012. From August 2019 to November 2022, they served as a Managing Director at Nordic Capital.

Kanak also had previous experience as an Executive Director at Warburg Pincus LLC from 2017 to 2019. Daniel was a Co-Founder of The Urban Heroes, a fitness studio concept in Germany, from 2015 to 2017. Daniel also worked as an Associate Director at Temasek from 2012 to 2016 and as an Investor & Board Member at UClass from 2012 to 2015.

Earlier in their career, Kanak worked as an Analyst - Alternative Investments at Goldman Sachs from 2010 to 2012 and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2009.

Daniel Kanak attended Columbia University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction. Throughout their academic semesters, they consistently made it onto the Dean's List. In 2006, they also briefly attended Peking University, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
