Deren Hurlie

Deren Hurlie holds extensive experience in information technology and executive leadership, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Jakkal Technologies and the Vice President of Information Technology at Ward Electric Company, Inc. Recognized as a finalist for the 2023 & 2024 Colorado CIO of the Year ORBIE award, Deren Hurlie has over 25 years of IT experience, including 14 years in management. Contributions include infrastructure upgrades, implementation of Microsoft cloud solutions, development of a ticketing system for enhanced employee support, and on-site security projects. Additionally, Deren Hurlie is the Programs Co-Chair of the Advisory Board at ColoradoCIO, fostering leadership among chief information officers in Colorado, as part of the InspireCIO Leadership Network. Prior roles include Desktop Manager and Mobility Engineer at TD SYNNEX, focusing on client support and team development.
