Michael Maggiore

Michael Maggiore has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Michael currently serves as the Business Unit Director at Ward Leonard, a Fairbanks Morse Defense company, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Program Manager at Leonardo DRS from 2020 to 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, Maggiore worked at Collins Aerospace, where they held various positions, including Program Execution Lead, General Manager of Maritime, and Associate Director of Program Management. At Collins Aerospace, they were responsible for program management, integration of management systems, and managing Navy platform programs.

Before their time at Collins Aerospace, Maggiore worked as a consultant at RCM Technologies from 2016 to 2017, serving as a Proposal Manager. Michael began their career in 1982 at Sikorsky, where they worked for 34 years until their retirement in 2016. At Sikorsky, they held various managerial positions in engineering, programs, and logistics.

Michael Maggiore holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport and the University of New Haven. Michael completed their undergraduate education from 1978 to 1982. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of New Haven, where they studied from 1982 to 1985.

In 1999, Michael Maggiore attended the Defense Systems Management College, where they earned a diploma in the Advanced Program Management Course. Lastly, in 2007, they received a certificate from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for completing the UTC Emerging Leaders Program.
