Richard Sands

Richard Sands is a technical director in ecology at Wardell Armstrong LLP since May 2023, previously serving as the owner and managing director of Adonis Ecology Ltd. from April 2005 to March 2023, where the company assisted property developers in complying with wildlife legislation and enhancing development site value. Prior experience includes ecological consultant roles at RPS Group from September 2003 to March 2005, and scientific officer specializing in entomology at Brooms Barn Research Station from April 1999 to September 2003, focusing on biodiversity impacts in agricultural practices. Richard holds a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Marine Resource Development & Protection from Heriot-Watt University, and A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Geology from Uppingham.
