Ruslan Erzhanov

Ruslan Erzhanov is a Senior Resource Geologist and the General Director of WAI Kazakhstan. Ruslan has over 10 years of experience in the field of geology, with a focus on resource estimation, exploration management, and grade control procedures.

Erzhanov began their career in 2008 as a Senior Resource Geologist for Kazakhmys PLC, where they were responsible for fieldworks administration, drilling supervision, logging, databases, and 3D modeling. Ruslan also assisted in the development of QA/QC procedures and mineral resource estimation. In 2013, they joined Manas Resources Limited as a Senior Resource Geologist, where they were responsible for evaluation of exploration targets, exploration status reviews, sampling/drilling/analytical studies, and exploration programme management.

In their current role as General Director of WAI Kazakhstan, Erzhanov is responsible for overseeing all operations of the company. Ruslan is also a Senior Resource Geologist at Wardell Armstrong, where they assist with international audit/consulting companies and prepares detailed weekly and monthly reports for management.

Ruslan Erzhanov has a Magister in Resource Geology from Kyrgyz State Technical University. Ruslan is certified by The Geological Society of London.
