Andrew Peterson

Andrew Peterson, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in data science and analytics. Andrew worked at The Warehouse Group, where they held multiple roles including Lead Data Scientist, Head of Data Science, and Data Analytics Manager. Prior to that, they were the Principal Data Scientist at Soltius NZ Ltd, where they advised executive leaders and managed projects to develop analytics solutions using SAP HANA, SAP Predictive Analytics, and R. Andrew also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Orion Health, where they developed predictive models in healthcare analytics. Before moving to New Zealand, Andrew held academic positions at various universities in the U.S. and conducted Postdoctoral Research Fellowships.

Andrew Peterson, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Flinders University in the years 1987 to 1991. Andrew then earned their Ph.D. in Ecosystem Dynamics from The Australian National University from 1992 to 1996.
