Mindy Acevedo is a Staff Attorney at the Warehouse Worker Resource Center since September 2021, and a recipient of the University of California President’s Public Service Law Fellowship. Previously, Mindy Acevedo served as a CELA Employee Justice Summer Clerk at Toni Jaramilla, APLC, and as a Legal Fellow with the UCLA Voting Rights Project, where responsibilities included assisting with voting rights litigation and researching related issues. Mindy Acevedo gained further legal experience as a Law Clerk at Strumwasser & Woocher LLP, focusing on the Flores Settlement Agreement and medical consent issues for minors. Earlier roles included positions as a Legal Assistant at Strumwasser Woocher and The Dominguez Firm, as well as an English Teacher at Leadersville English Institute. Mindy Acevedo holds a Doctor of Law degree from UCLA School of Law, a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
