Nigel Wilson

Nigel Wilson is a seasoned technical architect currently serving as Principal Technical Architect at Warner Bros. Discovery since March 2021. With extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, Nigel has worked as a Freelance Project Engineer and Consultant at Blue Ice Broadcast from January 2002 to March 2021, specializing in Master Control room design and technical infrastructure for major broadcasting events, with a client roster including ITN, Sky, and Olympic Broadcasting Services. Notable roles include IBC Operations Manager for the Asian Games 2018, IBC Technical Operations Manager for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and significant contributions to various UEFA and Olympic events. Nigel also has a strong technical foundation from education at Nottingham University, where a BSc Honours Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, and Electronics was obtained.
