Vineet Govil

Vineet Govil is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Warner Bros. Discovery since September 2025, Vineet leads the Converged Advertising & Linear Systems group in India, focusing on developing innovative AdTech platforms for both Linear and Digital media. Previously, Vineet held the position of CTPO at PW (PhysicsWallah), where significant advancements were made in EdTech. As CTO of Viacom18 Digital Venture, Vineet built a highly scalable OTT platform for millions of concurrent users. Additional leadership roles included Vice President and Head of the India Centre at Sling TV and key positions at DISH Network that contributed to the creation of the award-winning Slingbox technology. Vineet's career began at Sasken Communications and included engineering roles at the Space Applications Centre within ISRO, demonstrating a strong foundation in multimedia and communication technologies.
