Our thoughtfully designed stores feature working kitchens where you can "try before you buy."​ History In 1954, Jim Warner took a sales job at Stellian's appliance store on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul, owned by Steve and Lillian Farkas (Stellian is the combination of their first names). After many years as a valued employee, Jim bought the business and added his name to theirs. He established a solid foundation for success by offering the best products available and making sure every customer received exceptional service from sale to delivery. Those values were passed on to his children and today the company is still owned by all 9 of his children and actively operated by 4 second-generation members of the Warner family. Seventeen of Jim's 37 grandchildren work full time in sales, operations, merchandising and marketing.
