Misti Rasmussen

Misti Rasmussen, CPA, CGMA has a comprehensive work history that includes various roles in the accounting field. Misti began their career as a Bookkeeper at Bruno's Food & Pharmacy, Inc. #82 in 1992, where they handled cash reconciliation, vendor payments, and assisted with store management. In 1997, they joined L. Paul Kassouf & Co., P.C. as a Manager, specializing in federal, state, and local tax compliance for small businesses. Misti also served as the recruiting coordinator for UAB and managed the firm's retirement plan administration affiliate. In 2011, Misti worked as a Manager at Mid-South CFO, LLC, before transitioning to a Consultant role at their own firm, Misti B. Rasmussen, CPA. In 2012, they joined Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg, Moore, P.C. as a Supervisor, overseeing tax compliance and financial statement compilation for small businesses and individuals. Misti also worked on various special projects, such as claims calculations for the BP Deepwater Horizon settlement. Additionally, Misti Rasmussen holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy and as a Chartered Global Management Accountant from AICPA/CIMA.
