Scott Pruitt

Scott Pruitt has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information security and technology risk. Scott has held various positions in renowned companies such as Warren Averett and Logista Solutions. At Warren Averett, they served as a Technology Risk Principal and provided leadership and expertise in information security to multiple organizations. Scott also offered risk and compliance solutions, including Outsourced CIO services and IT control examinations. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Information Technology Security Manager at Warren Averett, where they focused on risk assessments and proactive compliance measures. Additionally, they worked as a Manager of Technology Services, overseeing application management, budgetary oversight, and serving as the primary solutions manager for various vended products.

Outside of their role at Warren Averett, Scott also served as a Board Member and Chapter Treasurer at InfraGard Birmingham Members Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity and collaboration between public and private sectors. Earlier in their career, Scott worked as a Technical Services Manager at Logista Solutions, where they managed field engineers providing hardware warranty repair and technical support to clients.

Scott Pruitt attended Jefferson State from 1990 to 1991, studying Business. Scott later obtained certifications including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA. Scott also earned a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA and holds MCP and MCTS certifications in Windows from Microsoft.
