Helen Pritty

Helen Pritty is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in teaching and assessment. Currently serving as a KS2 Writing Moderator for Warrington Borough Council since November 2022, Helen ensures the consistency of teacher assessments in writing at the end of Key Stage 2 in accordance with national standards. Since September 2008, Helen has held the position of Upper KS2 Teacher and Writing Subject Lead at The Challenge Academy Trust, where responsibilities include monitoring English instruction and providing staff support. Prior career experience includes over 17 years in customer service at Lloyds Bank and a managerial role within the British Shoe Corporation, where Helen began as a Saturday employee. Academic credentials include a BA Hons in English Literature from The Open University, a PGCE in Primary Education from Liverpool Hope University, and an NPQML in the Teaching of Writing from Best Practice Network.
