John Nichol

John Nichol is an experienced transportation and engineering professional with over 30 years in the field. Currently serving as the LSTF Programme Manager/Project Manager at Warrington Borough Council since August 2012, John manages high-profile transport projects such as the Warrington Multi-modal Transport Model and the Active Travel programme. Previously, as Strategic Manager Transportation and Engineering at Stoke-on-Trent City Council from February 1997 to March 2012, John oversaw multiple teams and managed significant budgets and projects. Early career roles included Team Manager Transport Policy at Staffordshire County Council and Planning Officer at South Glamorgan County Council, where John developed expertise in transport policy and project management. John holds an M.Phil. in Town and Country Planning from Newcastle University and a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the University of Staffordshire.
