German Lara

German Lara is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel for North America and the Americas at Wartsila North America, Inc. since September 2011. Previously, German held the position of Senior Director, Corporate Counsel, Contracts and Commercial at Sysco Corporation from May 2009 to February 2010, providing legal support across multiple divisions. German also served as Division Counsel for Still Beverages at The Coca-Cola Company from June 2002 to January 2009, where counsel was provided on various legal issues and strategic business initiatives. German holds a Juris Doctor degree in Contracts and International Law from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Princeton University.
