Giacomo Longo

Giacomo Longo is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the marine and power supply sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer for the Fuel Gas Supply System at Wärtsilä since November 2014, Giacomo has also held roles as a Sales Engineer and Customer Order Engineer for the Thruster portfolio, focusing on product design and client specifications. Prior to Wärtsilä, Giacomo worked as a Technical Service Engineer for Long Products at Danieli, where responsibilities included providing technical assistance and specializing in revamping designs for rolling mills after extensive training. Giacomo holds a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Trieste, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Southampton.
