Jan Ekman

Jan Ekman has extensive experience in finance and management, currently serving as Program Finance Controller at Wärtsilä since May 2009, with previous roles including Area Controller for Europe & Africa, Business Controller, Project Portfolio Manager, and Project Controller. Jan also served as a Member of the Board at Kvevlax sparbank / Koivulahden säästöpankki from January 2010 to April 2025. Prior experience includes the position of Financial Manager at Logset Oy from February 2006 to May 2009, and Assistant Manager of Business Reporting at Wärtsilä from September 2000 to February 2006. Jan holds a Master of Science in Economics with a specialization in Financial Economics from the Hanken School of Economics, completed between 1994 and 2000.
