Karen Paredes

Karen Paredes is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in Human Resources management across various industries in Latin America. Currently serving as HR Manager for Wärtsilä since August 2023, Karen previously held the role of HR Assistant Manager at Sony from April 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing HR operations, employee relations, and expatriate management. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional HR Generalist for Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein, and as a Human Resources Generalist at Alemán, Cordero, Galindo & Lee, where organizational development and training initiatives were key focuses. Additionally, Karen has a background in HR coordination at FLUIDRA and employee training facilitation at Banco General. Academic qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology, supplemented by a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá.
