Tatu Westling

Tatu Westling currently serves as the Workforce Planning and Organization Development Lead at Wärtsilä since June 2024. Prior to this role, Tatu held the position of Director of People Analytics at UPM - The Biofore Company from October 2021 to June 2024, where leadership in people analytics was the primary focus. Tatu co-founded and worked as a Partner and Entrepreneur at OnWork from July 2016 to October 2021, leading analytics business and engaging with major Finnish organizations across various sectors. Experience at Mercer spanned from November 2008 to June 2016, including roles as Workforce Strategy Consultant and Senior Associate, emphasizing human capital consulting and analytics in Nordic organizations. Earlier in the career, Tatu worked at Hay Group as a Research Analyst and completed an Economist Trainee position at the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Tatu holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Helsinki and pursued doctoral studies in the Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics.
