Michael Slovacek

Michael Slovacek has a diverse work experience in the field of GIS. Michael started their career as a GIS Technician at Devon Energy in 2009, where they created and maintained spatial data for oil and gas land operations. Michael also served as a GIS Technician II, responsible for lead GIS contact for different business units and producing custom maps for oil and gas agreements. In 2014, they took on the role of a GIS Analyst at Devon Energy, acting as the primary GIS contact for geospatial mapping solutions and instructing web mapping classes. Michael also assisted in the transition to Geocortex Silverlight and HTML5. In 2016, they worked as a GIS Analyst at RazorTek Inc, where they liaised with the Southwest Power Administration and mapped easements and transmission lines. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Managing Partner at Landlocked GIS. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. GIS Analyst at Warwick Group since February 2019.

Michael Slovacek attended Oklahoma State University from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Geographic Information Systems with a field of study in Geography.
