Bob Wagner

SVP, Engineering at Warwick Investment Group

Mr. Wagner serves as senior vice president of engineering at Warwick. Mr. Wagner supervises, reviews, and assists with the engineering department’s evaluations of good reserves and economic assumptions used for new proposals, acquisitions, and internal reserve models, which also includes data provided by Warwick’s geology, land, and accounting departments and public and private sources. Mr. Wagner’s team evaluates trends in techniques and successes achieved by good operators by analyzing authority for expenditure (AFE) vs actual costs, drilling efficiencies and completion techniques, and fracture stimulations and the resulting well performance.

Prior to joining Warwick, Mr. Wagner served as senior vice president of engineering for Quicksilver Resources, a US natural gas producer with substantial positions in the Barnett Shale, Antrim Basin, and Canada’s Horn River Shale. He oversaw reserve engineering for Quicksilver for both lender and SEC reporting. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Wagner worked with Mercury Exploration as a reservoir and drilling engineer, with focus on the company’s assets in Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. From 1987 to 1995, Wagner worked with Mesa Petroleum, where he held various engineering positions with operations focused in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins.

Mr. Wagner holds a degree in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
