Albert Trinkl

Managing Director, Institutional Business Development, EMEA at Wasatch Global Investors

Mr. Trinkl is Managing Director of Institutional Business Development for Wasatch Global Investors and leads the firm’s distribution efforts in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and German-speaking regions. In this role, he works closely with institutional investors, consultants and retirement plans. He joined Wasatch in 2020.

Prior to joining Wasatch, Mr. Trinkl oversaw client relations and marketing for the Middle Eastern and African regions at DWS Group, Deutsche Bank’s asset-management arm. Earlier, he worked at HSBC and Lingohr & Partner (a German-based equity boutique). He started his investment career as a fund manager at firms including Allianz Holding of Germany and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority focusing on global-listed equites before moving into distribution and client-management roles.

Mr. Trinkl holds a degree from the S&L Bank Academy in Bavaria, Germany. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Albert is a German native. He enjoys outdoor sporting activities, especially kiteboarding and coaching soccer.
