Tristan Thompson, P.E. is a Design Engineer at Wasco Sales and Marketing since June 2015, specializing in Mechatronics design for testing equipment related to pressure and vacuum switches. Tristan utilizes C++ and LabVIEW for software development to meet testing requirements and collaborates within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Design Internship at Postmark Incorporated from June 2014 to June 2015, focused on creating detail drawings and prototypes using SolidWorks. Tristan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, attained in 2015.
