Hamza Zia

Student Affairs Committee Representative at Washington and Lee University

Hamza Zia is a dedicated and accomplished individual pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Education at Washington and Lee University. Currently serving in multiple roles including Research Assistant at UC Berkeley and as an Emerging Leaders Fellow with the American Pakistan Foundation, Hamza also holds positions such as Civic Charge Fellow with Accountability Lab and LeadNext Fellow with The Asia Foundation. Additional engagements include being a Peer Tutoring Coordinator and Student Affairs Committee Representative at Washington and Lee University, as well as co-founding the PINK Center and coordinating for the STEM Alumni Association at HEC Pakistan. Hamza's experience is further enriched with roles at the Asian-Pacific Resource & Research Centre for Women, serving as a Country Representative and ARROW Advocacy Institute Fellow. As a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford, Hamza continues to enhance expertise in Engineering and Mathematics.
