Megan Hobbs

Megan Hobbs serves as the Associate Dean of Students and Dean of Sophomores and Juniors at Washington and Lee University, a position held since July 2012, where responsibilities include developing needs-based programming for undergraduate sophomores and overseeing the Assessment Care Team. Previously, Megan held the role of Associate Director of Leadership & Residential Learning Initiatives, focusing on student leadership development and the creation of comprehensive leadership programs. Prior to Washington and Lee University, experience included positions at James Madison University, Shenandoah University, and Credo Higher Ed, with a strong emphasis on student affairs and leadership initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and Business Administration from Elon University and a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University.
