Zach Nix

Zach Nix is an experienced professional in educational technology and training, currently serving as the ITS Technology Adoption and Training Coordinator at Washington and Lee University since August 2012. Nix has previously held positions such as Technology Integration Coordinator and Technology Integration Specialist at the university. Prior to this, Nix worked at Interactive Achievement, Inc. from November 2010 to August 2012 as a District Representative, managing webinars and regional training projects. Nix also has a background in education as a Social Studies Instructor at the Virginia Department of Correctional Education from September 2005 to October 2009, where a 100% student pass rate for Virginia SOL tests was achieved. Nix holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Liberty University. Recognized for excellence in technology, Nix received the “Technology Excellence Award” and developed a long-term plan for technology acquisition and utilization.
