Dr. Genevieve Howard currently serves as a Workforce Policy Associate at the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges since December 2021. Prior to this position, Dr. Howard held several leadership roles at Clark College from April 2010 to December 2021, including Interim Associate Vice President of Instruction and Dean of Workforce and Career Technical Education (WCTE). Responsibilities at Clark College encompassed the administration and leadership of instructional units across multiple campuses, oversight of instructional operations, and coordination with various stakeholders. Additionally, Dr. Howard has extensive experience in instructional programming and grant management, which includes working as the Director of Instructional Programming and Innovation at Portland Community College. Dr. Howard earned a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology and Cultural Anthropology from California State University, Bakersfield, and has furthered education at Concordia University-Portland.
