John Wheeler

John Wheeler is an experienced emergency management professional with over 27 years of progressive leadership in the field. Currently serving as the Emergency Management Manager for Washington County since April 2020, John previously held the position of Interim Director at the Washington County Emergency Management Cooperative from October 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that role, John served as the Emergency Management Supervisor for Washington County from December 2015 to October 2019 and as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency from January 1996 to December 2015. John holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Oregon, obtained between 1985 and 1989.
