Asher Notheis

Asher Notheis is a breaking news reporter at Washington Examiner. Asher has also interned at ABC News, CNN, and Fox News Media.

Asher got their start in journalism as an intern at ABC News' Pierre Thomas Justice and Homeland Security Unit in January 2016. There, they pitched and reported several stories that resulted in byline credits. Asher also conducted primary research for Thomas's "Shots Fired" feature story.

In January 2015, Asher began working as a researcher for "Asher Killed Them All," a book about the high-profile Robert Durst case. Asher conducted primary research for Judge Jeanine Pirro's firsthand account of the case and served as an editor. Asher's work was acknowledged in the book's "Acknowledgements" section.

That same year, Asher interned at CNN's News Bureau. Asher contributed reporting that was featured in breaking news articles and cut and edited video packages that aired on CNN programs.

From January 2019 to December 2020, Asher worked as a production assistant at Fox News Media's Media Desk. And from January 2014 to December 2014, they interned at Fox News Media's "Justice with Judge Jeanine."

Asher Notheis attended Scarsdale Senior High School and earned a high school diploma. Asher then attended the University of Pennsylvania where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government. Finally, they attended Columbia University where they earned a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government.
