Melissa Campbell

Executive Director at Washington Farmland Trust

Melissa Campbell is the current Executive Director at Washington Farmland Trust. Prior to this, they were a Program Coordinator for Washington State University Extension from November 2007 to July 2008. In this role, they coordinated the Extension Watershed Stewardship training program as well as the Cultivating Success class for small farmers. Melissa also has experience as an iLEAP coordinator, helping develop an innovative training program for grassroots leaders from around the globe. With iLEAP, they also developed print media and website content, drafted grant proposals, led successful fundraising campaigns, managed volunteers, and cultivated strong relationships with other progressive organizations in the Seattle area. Melissa began their career as an intern at Seattle Public Utilities from January 2007 to September 2007. Melissa then interned at King County-Water and Land Division from June 2006 to December 2006.

Melissa Campbell has a Master's degree in Environment and Community from Antioch University Seattle and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from The Ohio State University. Melissa also attended Bluffton High School.
