Madhur Lamsal

Madhur Lamsal has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in 2006 and worked there until 2008. In 2009, Madhur worked as a Predictive Modeler/Actuarial Analyst at the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America. They then joined DNV GL in 2013 as a Consultant in Policy Advisory and Research, specializing in sustainable energy use. In 2019, Madhur worked as an Economic and Statistical Analyst for the County of Fairfax, VA. Most recently, they have held various roles in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Washington Gas since 2021, including Lead Analyst and Sr. Manager. Their current position is Director of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at Washington Gas.

Madhur Lamsal has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Economics from The University of Georgia. Prior to that, Madhur obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Actuarial Science from the University of Michigan. Madhur also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for completing the course "Tackling the Challenges of Big Data" from edX.
