Chet Morrison has extensive experience in the field of trauma surgery and critical care. Chet currently serves as the Trauma Medical Director at the Washington Hospital Healthcare System. Prior to this, they held the same role at Central Michigan University from 2020 to 2023. Chet also worked as an Attending Trauma Surgeon at Central Michigan University College of Medicine from 2019 to 2023. Before that, they were an Attending Trauma Surgeon and Critical Care Intensivist at Lancaster General Health from 2014 to 2019. Chet's earlier experience includes roles as an Attending Trauma Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist at Michigan State University from 2005 to 2013 and as an Attending Surgeon at Tripler Army Medical Center from 2002 to 2006.
Chet Morrison has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry and Biology from Cornell University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. Chet then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at The George Washington University between 1987 and 1991. Following this, they completed a fellowship training in Trauma Critical Care at the Maryland Cowley Shock Trauma from 2000 to 2001.
