Skylar Schmitt is an experienced professional in political and event management with a strong background in local government affairs, fundraising, and community outreach. Currently serving as the Local Government Affairs Manager at the Washington Hospitality Association, Skylar previously held roles at Blue Wave Political Partners and Strickland for Washington, where significant contributions included innovative voter outreach programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. With expertise in managing campus events at North Seattle College and consulting for various political campaigns, Skylar has demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, volunteer recruitment, and data management using platforms such as NGP/VAN, Spoke, and ThruTalk.
