Nedra Rivera

Nedra Rivera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in translation, editing, and education. Currently serving as Hotline Manager and previously as Hotline Coordinator at Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network since April 2020, Nedra also maintains a long-standing freelance translation and editing career across multiple companies, including Anthemion Trans and CÁLAMO&CRAN. Specializing in Spanish to English translation, Nedra has worked with a diverse range of clients, from educational publishers to logistics companies, handling various subjects such as art, science, and history. Additionally, Nedra has contributed to community education as a volunteer English teacher and has held administrative and teaching roles in various educational institutions. Academic qualifications include two BA (Hons) degrees from The Open University in Art History and History, and Classical Studies, as well as a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults from Cambridge.
