Melissa Gedney

Melissa Gedney is a seasoned professional in education and media, currently serving as Senior Manager for the Learn Together Project at PBS KIDS since February 2021. Previously, Melissa held various roles at PBS KIDS, including Project and Content Manager for Social Emotional Learning and Character Education. Melissa's experience also includes teaching and performing at Washington Improv Theater since June 2016, and a role as Field Study Research Assistant at Digital Promise, collaborating with WGBH and The Jim Henson Company. In academic settings, Melissa worked as Course Manager and Teaching Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at 826 National. With a Master's in Education from Harvard and bachelor's degrees from The George Washington University and Boğaziçi University, Melissa has a strong foundation in technology, public policy, and international relations.
