Michael Violette

Michael Violette is a distinguished CEO of Washington Laboratories, Ltd since November 1989, overseeing operations, marketing, and finance for a technology testing company. As President and Chair of the Maryland China Business Council since February 2012, Violette has played a pivotal role in connecting Maryland's business community with opportunities in China. Violette has also served as Chair of the IEEE EMC Society's Washington DC/NoVA Chapter since 2004, coordinating meetings on EMC product regulations and compliance. Previous roles include Director positions at American Certification Body, Inc. and the American Council of Independent Laboratories, where Violette focused on regulatory services and conformity assessment activities.
