Brian comes with three decades of public transit experience and leadership and is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of Metro including the Rail, Bus, Paratransit and police departments.

Brian’s philosophy and experience demonstrates promoting operational safety and reliability while improving the overall customer experience, including more than 23 years at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) where he started as a Collector/Rail Motorperson. Safety and customer service have always been important in his career; in the past four months, he led returning the 7000 series vehicles to service, ensuring safe bus alternatives during the upcoming critical Yellow Line construction activities, and successfully opening the Silver Line extension.
