Elizabeth Sullivan

Elizabeth Sullivan, CIA, CRMA, CCSA, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Risk and Audit Officer at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) since January 2015, bringing extensive experience in risk management and internal compliance. In addition to this role, Elizabeth holds positions as a Global Board Member and North American Board Member for The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. since April 2021. Previous experience includes serving as AVP and Director of Risk and Control Services at Susquehanna Bank from 2006 to 2015, as well as audit management roles at Capital One and M&T Bank. Elizabeth's career began in bank services and operations at SunTrust in 1997.
