Jeff Hiott

Jeff Hiott is an accomplished transportation executive currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operational Transformation and Bus Transformation at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) since April 2023. Prior to WMATA, Jeff held the position of Vice President of Enterprise Program Management at CapMetro from January 2021 to April 2023, overseeing key initiatives in performance management, sustainability, and the Zero-Emission Vehicle Program. Jeff also served as Vice President of Technical Services & Innovation at the American Public Transportation Association from March 2018 to January 2021, with prior experience as Director of Operations & Standards at the same organization. Early career roles included engineering positions at the Brick Industry Association, the Plastics Pipe Institute, and Pond and Company. Jeff Hiott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing studies from 1992 to 1999.
