Kevin Coyne is an experienced operations professional currently serving as Senior Operations Advisor at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) since April 2018. Previously, Kevin held the position of Senior Operations Manager at Amazon from June 2014 to August 2017 and served as Deputy in the Strategic Leadership Department at the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy from July 2010 to April 2014. Kevin's extensive background in leadership includes a distinguished military career as a Naval Officer in the US Navy from May 1987 to March 2014, where roles included Commanding Officer and Executive Officer. Additionally, Kevin held the role of Chief in the Policy Division for the Deputy Director of Strategy and Policy on The Joint Staff from June 2007 to June 2010. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and two Master of Science degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School and the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
