Sean Corcoran

Sean Corcoran is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Design Program Manager at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), focusing on the design aspects of Battery Electric Bus Projects aimed at achieving a fully zero-emission bus fleet by 2042. Previously, Sean held the position of Austin Engineering Director at Toole Design Group, overseeing engineering efforts related to active transportation in Austin, Texas. Additional roles at Toole included Senior Engineer and Project Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing project development phases and leading design tasks for bike and pedestrian networks. Earlier experience includes serving as an Airfield Civil Engineer at RS&H and conducting research at the University of North Florida. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Florida, earned between 2005 and 2009.
